Super Strecke! An manchen Wochenenden ist mehr los als auf einer Motorradmesse. In Grein lohnt sich die Einkehr in die Konditorei Schörgi. Tolles Eis, gute Mehlspeisen und Kaffees. Ich liebe diese Strecke auch in die andere Richtung.

a 350km pure pleasure ride in an absolutely stunning countryside with all sorts of challenges for mature and experienced riders. allow yourself quite a few brakes, first because the landscape wants you to and second your concentration level and body fitness wants you to. i have been riding bikes for 22 years and this trip is on the top of my list. unforgettable indeed.

Join the L705 at Sankt Gallen and enjoy a pleasant ride on an open road with nothing to catch you out. Very pleasant scenery of low mountains and woodland. Long straights & curves on a fairly good road surface with traffic a rarity. On the lats few kms of approach to Großreifling the road passes through rocky slopes and the curves tighten and become more frequent just to wake you up.

Stop at the Poststüberl for good food and drink.

Experience on a drive of 35km, with numerous gentle bends, a unique high-mountain region in the heart of the largest spruce, larch and arolla pine forest in the eastern Alps.
OK thats what the leaflet says about this toll road.
Theres sections of forest that are twisty with no visibility, a couple of car parks where people wander in the roads, and cows and there mess.
But its a cracking road reaching 2042m, several cafe/restaurants, free biker safes to store you helmet.
