The superslap portions of the route are what they are, but the mountain roads portion of this route is fantastic. Two major sections of mountains and twisties. Beautiful scenery in the mountains. NOT good to go any later in the winter season than about November as roads up at 5000 feet elevation will ice up and snow, but other times of the year, it's a long but great ride to a desert resort area.
